Our client is a world leader within the lifts and entrance systems market. Due to continued contract wins, they are now seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and resourceful Project Manager, ideally with knowledge of the Lift and Escalator industry, to work on a New Equipment Major Project site in Central London.
To be considered you will have:
A proven track record of successfully delivering technical projects within the construction industry.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the strategic aspects of this key £multi-million project,
working closely with multiple project teams to mitigate any risk,
defining project objectives,
undertaking effective day to day management of the project and ensuring that the project runs to time and budget
Taking full Profit and Loss responsibility,
Delivering operational performance excellence & customer satisfaction,
Provide engineering support and improved profitability.
To help the business, you will be a highly effective communicator, who can be assertive when required and understands the importance of meeting deadlines whilst ensuring effective customer service. You will also be commercially astute with the ability to maximise profitable revenue and be able to deliver results in a customer facing capacity where long term relationship building is key. You will be highly organised, IT literate and able to thrive in a large complex demanding organisation.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a strong and demonstrable background in Project Management, ideally within the Lift Industry or similar allied trade (I.e. Construction or M&E environment).
You will have relevant Project Management qualifications
Experience in managing large scale (multi-million projects)
